Thank you for your support of Tollhouse by participating as a volunteer member of the US Forest Service OHV (Off Highway Vehicle) program. The Central California Hang-gliding & Paragliding club has adopted the road to the launch areas at Tollhouse and works in cooperation with the High Sierra Ranger District to improve and maintain public access to our launch site, as well as other recreational areas. Our club has received many positive comments from the Forest Service and local Tollhouse community for our efforts and we have established very good relationships.
The Forest Service has some paper-work for volunteers to fill-out, before beginning any work on public lands. The most time-consuming form is for Emergency / Medical information. That form is located here on our club website. Some questions may not apply to you, but please fill it out as well as you can.
It would greatly save time if volunteers would download it, fill it out, and save it on their computer for future years. Participants could then simply make any needed yearly changes, print a hard copy, and hand it in at the first work-day or club meeting of the year.
Our willingness to maintain and improve our site, in partnership with the US Forest Service, speaks volumes about our commitment to keep our recreational activities safe and strong at Tollhouse. Thank you for completing the paperwork and showing support on our work-days. Let us continue to help keep our National Forest, “The land of Many Uses.”
